Never ever again will I buy a YSL bag the customer service must be written of a script since the 12/06/22 I have been trying to trace a bag that was sent back and was received and yep some of this my fault as I sent it to the wrong department but surely anyone with a bit of intelligence would know this and send it back so far 12 phone calls 15 emails and the same old answers we have to track the warehouse to find it?? am on stress and massive anxiety because of this yet again

Awful service. Will not use again after 40 years
Ordered perfume and other products. Perfume did not arrive. This, was over a month ago. I rang straightaway. After chasing I today receive curt email saying I had received it. Outrageously bad service and customer service. They have not listened at all.

No refunds unless you're willing to give yourself an allergic reaction, for photo evidence obviously
Absolutely ridiculously laughable customer service. I bought a foundation and it gave me insane dry patches on my nose. Called customer support, and they told me apply it again and take a photo so they can see how it affects my skin?! Are you kidding? If someone was allergic to a product, you'd tell them to reapply it because your policy requires photo evidence?
You'd think paying £30-40 for a single cosmetic product would mean their refund policy was at least as accommodating as the likes of Cult Beauty or Beauty Bay. YSL is a multibillion company—it's actually embarrassing how penny-pinching it is in order to retain every cent of its customers' money.
This experience alone has made me want to stay away from the brand entirely, even with other retailers. Avoid.

Do not buy through YSL beauty
Do not buy through YSL beauty. They sent me only my free samples not my £100 purchase. Had to End up getting a refund via Mastercard even though I’d shown them the evidence (a small perfume sample size Jiffy bag which they claimed had “all my gift sets”) in it
Bad customer service
Bad customer service! My parcel was sent to a pick up location out of my area when this was not requested. I was told I requested it to be sent for pick up when I didn’t I was then told to return to seller for refund and the item as I have no time to collect it. The item was a gift for tomorrow not even offered compensation or anything but I’m being asked to do the leg work?? And also they and dpd lied and stated that I requested to pick it up I would never have done this! Don’t waste your time ordering the service is bad go elsewhere.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.
The worst customer service I have ever experienced. EVER. I ordered a Touche Eclat concealer at the beginning of March. I was sent the wrong shade. I then spoke to customer services who informed me I needed to send photos and it would be sent to their investigations team. After days of no response I phoned again. This time to be told it was my fault as I had ordered the wrong shade (which wasn't even on the website!). Eventually (after more calls and emails) they agreed to let me return it and sent me a returns label. Again, over a week later no response. I then phoned AGAIN to be told it would need to go to their investigations team again. Finally someone emailed me and told me because it was "my fault" I ordered the wrong shade they couldn't send me the replacement and only offer a refund. That was on 1st April. I finally got my refund today (26th April) after weeks of chasing and asking and being told it was 5-7 working days, then it was 14 working days. Then after 14 working days I needed to wait another 3-5 working days. Perhaps they could've given me the benefit of the doubt in the first place and simply apologised and offered me a replacement. It does make me question whether this is even a real YSL company to be honest. If it is then goodness knows what kind of place they are running. I am so appalled it's not only put me off using their website but also their products. Shocking. Wish I'd seen the rest of the Trustpilot reviews beforehand.

Absolutely abysmal service! Placed an order which after a few weeks I was informed they were unable to fulfil the order but sent me a link to the same product at an increased price and without all the advertised free gifts!

I ordered a product from YSL beauty and it was due to be delivered on Wednesday 9th February 2022.
The driver took a picture of his leg in the middle of a road (not sure which one) and said that was his proof of delivery. My parcel was not delivered to my home clearly.
DPD could not locate the driver or my parcel for hours. I was told it would I arrive that evening it did not. After speaking to numerous advisors I was told it would arrive on Thursday it did not. Bare in mind I contacted YSL throughout this process and nothing- no response no help; nothing. On Friday my parcel shows up in my porch and it was opened. Not only the box packaging by the item that I ordered as well was opened.
I called YSL again and they informed me I have to wait 2 working days for a response! Their customer service is absolutely awful, no action being made, no haste, no empathy. I would expect after ordering from an alleged luxury brand that their service would be as well. Instead you get clueless advisors who can’t make any decisions.
I refuse to use this item as I don’t know what happened to it during its absence. The driver could have done anything to it considering it was opened. YSL are refusing to replace it.
So much for luxury. They are a disgusting brand with no morals. I usually order other beauty brands. This was my first time ordering from YSL beauty and it will surely be the last.
Reading these reviews at least I know I’m not alone.

Item never turned up after a few weeks emailed to let them know, then got a refund after having to asked for it. Won't be shopping through the website again
Take your money in 5 seconds, don’t give it back for over a month
Partner ordered me a perfume before Christmas. Accidentally hit the order button twice. Two perfumes come to the door before Christmas and as advised by YSL themselves he refused one and accepted the other. YSL received this parcel back in their warehouse on the 24th December.
TO THIS DAY (24th January) my partner has received NO refund. He has rang them three times now and each time is told about a 21 day return policy. Today when he phoned he was told by the customer service agent who sounded like she’d had enough of her day already at 9.30 in the morning “ohhh it’s actually 21 worrrkinggg days”. She then asked him if he’d been given a reference number, to which he said no because he hadn’t, she then said “oh well you would’ve been given one”. Where in this conversation is a high end company? It’s like dealing with a dodgy company ran by cowboys.
May I add this was an expensive YSL perfume, from their Vestiaire collection. We’re talking a significant amount of money, not £50.
Absolutely ridiculous. To put things into perspective, when I ordered a perfume from Chanel before Christmas and returned it they sent me a confirmation of receiving the return AND refunded me the next day. That’s what a high end company does. You’re supposed to be a high end beauty brand but your customer service is absolutely shocking and I would never ever order from your website after this stupidity.
Maybe my partner will eventually get a refund. Or maybe the customer service agents will continue to fob him off. Meanwhile the perfume my partner returned over a month ago is likely sat in someone else’s house now being used. YSL have had his money they don’t seem to care about giving it back.

Never received my order, will not give me a refund and are now ignoring emails, Facebook messages etc. Do not waste your time and money.
Brilliant Service
Wow i'm honestly shocked at the state of some of these reviews so i just thought i'd add my own recent experience! My items plus a few freebies came after being ordered 4 days earlier so absolutely brilliant service. Also, the packaging is gorgeous, a few individual make up items came in a lovely YSL display box which i didn't expect at all. So just because Janet, 54 from Leicester had the order bounce due to a lack of funds doesn't mean that YSL beauty website is a scam!!!! Will definitely be ordering from them again :)

Can’t really complain about ysl, ordered Boxing Day, got a confirmation email, then an email to say it had been shipped, 30/12/21 text off Dpd to say it will be delivered on 31/12/21, if anything Dpd let them down as they claimed they tried to deliver but didn’t, anyway it arrived today 02/01/2022 beautifully packaged

Would be a 0 if I could.
Ordered 28 Nov and received no tracking details which led to 2 failed attempts and the parcel being returned to sender.
Numerous emails have been sent but have to be followed with a phone call to get any response.
Item was back in your warehouse by 06 Dec (Confirmed over email).
It’s 31 Dec and I’m still waiting for a refund. Initially told 14 working days for the refund to go through.
Iv been told 3 times the refund has been escalated and actioned so will be with you shortly.
Had to raise a dispute with PayPal today to see if I’ll be able to get a refund.
Customer service get grumpy when you call them out on the company timeframes. Even tried saying Paypal refunds can take 30 days.
Christmas was a busy time for all but 25 days and waiting for a refund is farcical.
